Write down your goals to have a 43% higher chance of achieving them. Make your goals measurable, attainable, specific, relevant, and time bound. 📈Spotify 2022 Podcast Trends Report

​The Spotify 2022 Podcast Trends Report was recently released and the results have been promising for those of us who publish audio-first podcasts (as opposed to video podcasts):

• Podcast listening has increased globally 38%
• All podcaster listener age categories have increased, diversifying the typical majority 25-54 year age range, with the sharpest increase of 49% among teens 13-17 years old
• Podcast listening in cars is up 131% and 83% on smart speakers, maybe that one download of your episode is reaching more than one person

Audio podcasts are not dead! There are so many reasons to look forward to podcasting in 2023!

Larry Roberts and I are launching our new podcast “Podcast PhD” on January 4th! And surprise! It’s about podcasting! We’re having a great time…even when we mess up as soon as we press record! And guess what? We’re keeping it all in! Why? Because mistakes happen and what’s most important is that we provide value & entertainment.

Are you trying hard to be perfect in podcasting? Don’t even think about it! Perfection isn’t relatable, and quite frankly, it isn’t fun! I’m really excited for you to catch the premiere next month!

🎙️PODFEST EXPO is Our First In-Person Meetup!

The PODFEST EXPO returns next month! I am excited to not only be attending the event, but it will also be my speaking debut on two panels discussing social audio (i.e., Clubhouse) and collaboration.
