I’ve been thinking about the state of the podcasting industry and how many podcasters often misunderstand success or have unrealistic expectations. 😕
The PodMatch June 2024 report shared some eye-opening stats. 📊 For example, the report reveals that podcasts with over 100 episodes have a 93% chance of failure! 😱 They went on to say, ‘you’re four times more likely to succeed with a business than a podcast’. 😳
That didn’t seem to sit well with the Podcasting Morning Chat community who shared that podcast success doesn’t always equate to financial gains. 💸
Let’s see what we consider success as podcasters:
